Minecraft server status
Check whether your Java or Bedrock server responds, then view its player count, version and server-list preview.
Check a server
Before you join
A status reply doesn’t guarantee you can join. No reply can also mean the server blocks status requests.
Check your SRV recordsCheck your server
Choose an edition and enter your server address.
Your server-list preview, player count and version will appear here after checking.
Check Java and Bedrock NetherNet server status
Java server status: MOTD, player count and version
Enter the address from your Minecraft Java server list. The preview shows the formatted text in the server list (MOTD) alongside the server icon. You also get the player count, version and ping when the server provides them. Check whether a server responds before joining, or see how your own server appears to players.
Bedrock server status through NetherNet
For Bedrock, we query the NetherNet /v1/join endpoint over HTTP(S). It provides the server name, world, version, player count and game mode. The preview shows these details as a Bedrock server entry. To check whether you can actually join, connect in Minecraft afterwards.
Use the address your players have
Java accepts a domain or public IP, with an optional port. Without a port, the checker looks for a Minecraft SRV record and otherwise uses 25565. Bedrock NetherNet accepts a domain, IP or HTTP(S) URL and defaults to port 19132. Enter the endpoint’s actual port if it differs. For IPv6 with a port, use square brackets, such as [IPv6]:25565.
